The three band router is absolutely amazing since I got it I have had no issues with Wi-Fi in my house on my video games computers tablets phones Etc

Installed this in the basement of a long house, two story house and it reached all corners. Also allowed for many family members to be online at once.

Easy to set up (if you have a little patience and a bit of tech in you) and has worked very well throughout the house!

so i wanted to get rid of my FIOS router...and boy this is has not disapointed so far...the app is the only downspot...it works, but lacks some pop

No problems connecting or lag. If you want to control your kids wifi, it is the easiest way with the app through your phone.

This router is one of the best. The wireless coverage carries across the entire house.

So far so good. It flawlessly connected my devices together. I wish it came with another mesh. It didn’t want to link my extender though. That’s why I’m not giving it five stars.

Bought this to replace an older Linksys router for my sons apartment, this fixed the latency issue he was having.

I’m sure this does what it’s supposed to but based on what I was told in-store, I expected it to help my issue (little to no wifi in some rooms) and it didn’t.

Fixed my issue!! My previous router couldn’t handle all my devices. This fixed it right up! Couldn’t be happier!

This router works great and links with the rest of my Velop system. Setup was fast and easy. However, I chose this because of the USB port with the intention of attaching a hard drive, just like I had done with my previous Lynksys router. Eventually, deep into the Lynksys help section of their website, I found out that the USB port is there only for some future use. If only they made it clear on the packaging and the setup instructions that the USB port was just decoration... I still may have bought it after looking at other options.

Works great needed a stronger unit to cover our 1925 sqft house. This did the job without additional units

Upgraded from an old Netgear and it made all the difference. Wifi working great everywhere in 2500 square foot home.

Needed better Wi-Fi coverage across the house for 3 in school and 2 working from home. This worked perfectly for our set up.

I have a number of IOT devices and when my router goes out, Alexa and Google complain like babies "please check your device's connection and power supply". Obviously I wasn't disconnecting my devices a few times a day but for some reason, my routers couldn't keep connected. My original router was an Apple Airport that couldn't connect to the Ring Video Doorbell, 4 feet away from it. I switched to a different router and that connected to the doorbell but then disconnected itself every other time I needed to see who was at my door. I changed the router again and it also lost the connection a few times but did connect to the doorbell. For some reason, it lost connection to the Insignia Speaker with Google Assistant at least once a day. I got a replacement unit from the company and although better, I could not get it to connect to my Insignia Garage Door opener. I tried over and over to get it to connect via HomeKit and no luck. Finally I decided to get this Linksys MR8300 Max Stream Router and the Linksys Velop Mesh WiFi Extender. So far in the past week, I haven't had a disconnect to the speaker, the Ring Cameras connect perfectly and finally I can control my garage door using Siri. The MR8300 has 4 Gigabit ports, it would have been nice to have more but I plugged in a Gigabit switch to expand my network. With the extender, the mesh system covers every inch of my house and the entire back yard. Wow! The MR8300 router is a tri-band router but all the IOT devices will only work on the 2.4Ghz band. Although I could connect my smart TV using the other band, I prefer to have it hardwired. Setting up the MR8300 was way easier than my last router (which shall remain nameless). With that one, no matter how I tried to connect using it's web interface, it always gave me an error message wherein I had to call the company and reset the router to factory settings (and we're talking straight out of the box). I unplugged the previous router, plugged in the MR8300 and after a firmware update, it connected immediately to all my devices! I didn't have to reset them, they were automatically recognized. It was great. This is the first time I have had all my devices working at the same time and haven't heard a complaint from Alexa all week. It's really aggravating when the only way to turn on your lights is with Alexa and it doesn't work but so far, so good, life is wonderful. Great router!

It does the job and the price isn’t bad. I doesn’t work with Spectrum due to the fiber optic cord they use.

It took a few times reading and re-reading to make sure no step was missed... But ultimately we got it up and running and it works fabulously! It was worth the upgrade!
