The Linksys RE6300 range extender is compatible with any wireless router. We could have tried to use the WPS or try the set-up with a different mobile device or computer for isolation.

Worked for awhile

I reset to factory settings and reinstalled. Still failed to maintain a connection to my router. I even changed where in the house it was located to improve line of sight. Still no connection. Currently is unplugged and sitting in the garage, useless.

We live in a smaller single story home and the signal is based in the living room and placed this halfway down the hall and it improved the signal of the WIFI by only one bar for the other side of the house.
