I do wish I had bought this earlier as I spent too much time on the phone with techs from Xfinity trying to get better connections that were clueless and never mentioned getting an extender. Maybe it is me but the only confusing thing about the directions was to use password "admin" to access the extender. "Admin" did not work so I finally entered my Xfinity password and was able to access the wifi.

If you’re trying to spend less money than it would take to buy a really good router, this is the way to waste money on something that won’t help.

If the range extender is placed too far from an existing router, the extender may not expand WiFi or WiFi may be spotty. You can try to relocate the extender to help ensure your Linksys range extender is in the right spot.
