It only extends consistently in the single room it's in (and about a hallway's length beyond. I can't move it anywhere else in the room without it being too far out of range for the router. Would like it better if the coverage was more substantial.

* Use a wireless-AC router/access point to fully utilize their capability.
* Place the range extender in an area where you are getting a strong wireless signal from the router.
* It is recommended to use WPA2 Personal wireless security on your router and range extender.
* Update or re-flash the firmware.
