The sync button was present on my Linksys wireless router but it did not work and I had to go online to get it to work. It works great now but I am not 100% sure what I did to get it to work.

If you recently changed your Gateway/Modem/Router, then you may have to reset the Linksys RE6300 to its factory settings, and configure it again to your new setup. You may place it then to an area with less or no wireless connection. You can communicate with us over email at [email protected] in case you have other concern. Still poor connection certain parts of my house. Dare not try the backyard. Have to connect to the ext when moving place to place which can be a hassle. Recently had WiFi issues resolved when unplugging extender.

The Linksys RE6300 WiFi Extender can extend the WiFi coverage up to 6500 sq. ft. You can try to relocate the extender and update the firmware to optimize its performance. Already returned. Negative review for sure.
