However, we recently added an outdoor patio and the wifi outside was terrible while on the patio. After talking to an IT friend, he recommended to try an extender and if that didn't work, return it and get a better router. It was super easy to set up and it works like a champ for the patio area. (I installed it next to a window beside the patio) We now get full signal on patio and most of the back yard....problem solved!
