The sync button was present on my Linksys wireless router but it did not work and I had to go online to get it to work. It works great now but I am not 100% sure what I did to get it to work.

Great WiFi extender

I didn’t know that my smart TV wasn’t getting a strong signal from my router until it started to freeze/buffer while streaming a couple movies. I got this item to expand my WiFi coverage and i haven’t had a buffer issue since. Easy to install, longest part was waiting for the computer to catch up to get it connected with my router.
