I didn’t know that my smart TV wasn’t getting a strong signal from my router until it started to freeze/buffer while streaming a couple movies. I got this item to expand my WiFi coverage and i haven’t had a buffer issue since. Easy to install, longest part was waiting for the computer to catch up to get it connected with my router.

There are several factors that will affect the performance of the range extender, like interference or wireless configuration. It is possible that the range extender needs to be relocated.
