Bandaid for Lagging Internet

After 1 to 4 hours it just drops its 5GHz network. Just goes away. Can't reconnect a computer to it because the net has vaporized. Essentially it "turns off" its 5GHz network. Reboot the unit and the 5GHz network comes back, but disappears again after some time. The 2.4GHz network is stable, but not as fast, of course. I got a replacement unit from BestBuy and the replacement did the same thing. Unusable because it really only serves 2.4GHz reliably. (It is NOT just dropping my connection -- the SSID for the 5GHz network just goes away after I've been idle a while.)

Broadcast issues with the range extenders SSID usually happen when a device tries to connect to an SSID that has been recently changed. You can make sure that you have deleted the previous wireless network name or SSID. Great value and service

My wi-fi worked and sometimes did not because of the weaker signal. This worked. I had trouble setting it up and had to call Linksys support which was FANTASTIC. My next router and or extender will definitely be a Linksys.
