Resetting the RE6300 is no longer needed once it is up and running. Just make sure that it is running on the latest firmware version for optimum performance. My laptop is downstairs, and our modem is upstairs. I was having difficulty whenever I was on a Zoom meeting. Not quite what I wanted with my modem by itself. After linking my laptop and modem with the Linksys, I get way far better clarity. I am glad I was able to get better clarify and very happy with my purchase.
