However, I experience slow speeds in the dead zone areas of my home. Sometimes when I’m on the internet, I just receive the spinning circle. My coworker suggested to buy a new router as well to help with the speed issue. Haven’t purchased the router yet, I just deal with the circling.

There are several factors that could affect the speed of the range extender, especially on the dead zones. Aside from the speed coming from the router, wireless interference, distance, and physical obstructions are a few of them as well. Utilizing the Spot Finder Technology as well as keeping the device running on the latest firmware will help. Rebooting the range extender could usually reconnect it to the wireless network. If the same thing happens, there could be some network settings that has to be adjusted to keep the device from losing its connection.
