Great wifi extender

I have some thick walls that were making very difficult to my ring cameras to connect. After identified the weak spot in my house, i was able to add coverage to my entire house. Setting up was very easy, it took about 10 minutes. I am very happy with with this purchase.

Unfortunately, while this did seemingly boost the signal, it's connection was spotty, and our connected products seemed to lose connection more frequently with this than with the weaker signal direct from the router. I did return this item.

The range extender may be too far from your main router or too much interference between them. It is recommended that you place the range extender between the main router and the location where you want to extend the signal.

The house is about 3,200 sq ft so I placed this extender at the top of the stairs which is about 40ft from the router and 24ft from her workstation. She now has a full strength connection and able to do WebEx calls. Set up was simple as well. Great for the price.

I had to move it twice to get reception and it lags and rarely automatically switches over & I have to go in and manually switch my wi-fi on my phone when I'm moving about the house.
