The Linksys RE6300 WiFi Extender should be able to deliver up to 6,500 sq. ft. WiFi coverage. You can try to relocate the extender as it might not expand the WiFi if it's placed too far. It loses connection and has to reconnect at least once every 30 minutes while playing games causing you to lag out of matches and it’s frustrating.

As a workaround, let us make sure that the Range Extender is running on its latest firmware version to optimize its performance. Make sure as well that it is properly situated where it is getting a good signal from the router.

Support was very helpful but it took an hour on the phone and a firmware update to get things going, as it was an unusual issue. The unit has been working well for a few weeks. Features and physical design of the product are good.
