But, then upon a power outage it failed to reconnect to the main WiFi until I went and physically reset it into the plug. It's got a great locator but seems that once it fails to connect it sleeps. So once a month I have to take a walk.

Required several attempts to set up with decent signal, but the signal wasn't reliably strong. Returned to store.

I was just trying to get better wifi in the master bedroom, router is in the living room other end of house. The extender connected but the "through put" was so slow I still couldn't load websites with heavy pictures. It extended but with slow or low bandwidth. I returned it.

Connected it to my network port in the wall and it made my wifi go from 20 mbps down on the apartment wifi to 200 mbps down on my own network. Totally recommend!!!
