But, then upon a power outage it failed to reconnect to the main WiFi until I went and physically reset it into the plug. It's got a great locator but seems that once it fails to connect it sleeps. So once a month I have to take a walk.

I was just trying to get better wifi in the master bedroom, router is in the living room other end of house. The extender connected but the "through put" was so slow I still couldn't load websites with heavy pictures. It extended but with slow or low bandwidth. I returned it.

Once set up the computer still did not read it and ultimately it did not work properly. The color of the light between amber and green was difficult to distinguish also making set up difficult.
