It was not an easy set up. I had to call tech support to help and eventually the tech had me to plug the device into my router. Did not connect via wireless. Now the device works well

I'm not sure how great it is with extending the signals since it doesn't quite work as I intended.

Router is in the basement. Went through the setup without success. Contacted customer service, which helped me eventually get connected but quickly lost the extension and often lost all of my WiFi on several occasions. Light on the device is yellow/ amber at best despite moving the device to several different locations. I will attempt to contact customer service again but am not optimistic that a solution will be reached

In order to avoid frequent disconnection, it would help if you place the range extender where it is getting at least 50% of your router’s Wi-Fi signal and is located midway between your router and the area without Wi-Fi.
