We had it for about 3 months and then COVID 19 hit and we started working from home. We had to upgrade our modem and WiFi to keep up with our work. I would still recommend this little device.

Keep in mind that we were using a spectrum router. Ended up getting Google wifi and works great!

The results were fair. Not sure if the problem was the extender or the earbuds. No way to tell for sure. Bottom line is what I wanted was not achieved.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Object needs to be incredibly close to router (perhaps ten feet at max if a wall is in the way) and despite saying needs at least two bars did not function at all to the point of dropping the admin page accessibility when it couldn't see the router at two bars. I have dumb wireless cameras that handle connectivity better. Automatic connectivity failed on a mixed network and had to be set up manually. Spent three hours on support to no avail. Would not recommend Linksys organizationally at this point.

The spot finder should assist you with locating the best spot to place the range extender. You can also try to update the extender's firmware and see if the same issue occurs.

I bought this for my child since he always complained he was not getting internet in his game room . It was still spotty . Not a full Coverage . It was ok for the price .

Extenders cut your speed in half and they drop connection sometimes, like this one. It technically worked well enough to run video in HD, but definitely not 4K.
