It worked...for about 5 minutes and then would drop the connection. No reason why it should drop but it never worked right. I replaced with a used Netgear router to do the same thing and it worked fine. I suspect that it was a communication issue and that this would work in a home environment, but it didn't work for my needs.

I did some research before going into the store but we had never came across the LG. I am glad it caught my husband's eye when he was at Best Buy. The TV is light weight and has a great picture quality. We are very happy with our purchase.

After installing, I can watch the end of my shows.

The RE6300 is designed to extend your coverage to get a better connection especially in areas where Wi-Fi is non-existent. But, the internet speed still depends on how much the extender gets from the router. That’s why proper placement is an important factor. Make sure that the device still gets an optimum connection, so it can also perform well. The antenna positioning may also help.

Seems to be doing the trick, difficult to set up.

This was NOT a simple install and required an IT person to come to the house. Someone needs to figure out how to make these setups a no brainer.

Setting up the Linksys RE6300 should be easy with its browser-based setup feature, as it doesn’t need for an installation software or setup CD. You just need to take note of your router’s Wi-Fi name and Wi-Fi password, and make sure that the extender is on set up mode by checking its LED status which should be blinking orange.
