It does what it was designed to do but only if the signal is received from the modem. My provider sucks.

The setup process is easy as long as you have an active Wi-Fi connection and your RE6300 extender is positioned at least 50% of your router's wireless signal. Buggy at best

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Could not get this to work consistently - I have ALL NEW Verizon equipment with the high end speed internet but need a booster for outside use and to reach from one end of my home to the other - found a much cheaper option ($20) that works perfect so there are issues with this extender as it would not stay connected and when it was connected the signal was not consistent - I returned the item

It connected easily and when I replaced my Spectrum Router and changed it to the old user name and password the Linksys reconnected automatically.

The wifi was not making it to the ps4 in his room for some reason but this was a quick easy fix and he was able to do it himself.
