Constantly disconnects from the network & requires a full reboot to start working again then only fir a few hours before it disconnects again. Best Buy offers zero support for a defective product once you’re past the 30 days. belkin gave me a replacement product but I continue to have the same problem. Have been on the phone & live chat with Belkin support at least a dozen times & nothing works. Waste if money!

I was able to connect all google home products as well as my roomba.

The range extender works best if placed between the main router and where you want to extend the Wi-Fi signal. We can have our Second Level Technicians assist you with further troubleshooting to improve its range.

Setting up the Linksys RE6300 is easy with its browser-based setup feature, as there’s no need for an installation software or setup CD. Thus, we must make sure that we have an active Wi-Fi connection from the router, and your Wi-Fi name (SSID) and Wi-Fi password is ready. Also, the Linksys RE6300 should be plugged into a power outlet, and wait until the light is blinking orange before starting the setup process. Make sure that your Linksys RE6300 gets enough signal from your router, so that it can extend a good amount of signal to your printer and other wireless device. Another workaround is to update the firmware of the range extender, to ensure its proper functionality.

Made the connection worse than without it

The “stronger” connection was slower than the weaker connection. I tried using it both wirelessly and wired to the router with it placed closer to the distant room. No luck. I need to return it if Best Buy is accepting returns.

The Linksys RE6300 range extender should extend the range up to 6,500 sq ft. You can use the Spot finder technology of the extender to help ensure your Linksys range extender is in the right spot to extend the Wi-Fi.
