Tried in multiple locations with equally terrible results. I have been fighting this thing off and on for 2 months and now I'm leaving reviews on Best Buy because I hate it so much. If you read the reviews the only people who like this product received it for free. Terrible.

This is definitely not the experience we want for our customers. It is possible that an outdated firmware is the main cause of your challenges. Make sure that it is up to date, then you can try to reset and configure it again to try and fix its performance.

We appreciate your honest review of the Linksys RE6300. Range extenders are dependent on the router. Aside from ensuring a stable connection from the source, you have to make sure that it is placed in between the router and the device(s) that are out of range. The spot finder feature can help you with that.
