This is definitely not the experience we want for our customers. It is possible that an outdated firmware is the main cause of your challenges. Make sure that it is up to date, then you can try to reset and configure it again to try and fix its performance.

If you mean that the phone takes time to load when connected to the extender, one factor could be its placement. It should get at least three WiFi bars from the router.
