If you mean that the phone takes time to load when connected to the extender, one factor could be its placement. It should get at least three WiFi bars from the router. It worked great for a week or two. Now, it’s never “green” and devices sometimes seem to take longer to connect than they did before I started using it. Streaming is now pretty sketchy as well. I’m disappointed...may need to return and try another option.

Save you self the money if you have other connections in your home buy an eero. I have a high end router and top tier internet canf ould not get signal to my home office. Gave this unit the chance for a week it could not handle task. Slowed down my connection dramatically or just would not work. This should not be call a booster. If you have some extra change and another connection go eero.

The Linksys RE6300 WiFi Extender can extend your WiFi up to 6,500 Sq. Ft. You can try to relocate the extender using the Spot Finder to help ensure your Linksys range extender is in the right spot, and make sure to update the extenders firmware for isolation.

For as long as your existing box supports the system requirements of the Linksys extender, then it should work. Setting up the device is easy with its browser-based setup feature; there’s no need for an installation software or setup CD. I've had to reset it many times

Problem is, once it has been properly connected, it takes three to four times to get to its settings. It will continually tell you it isn't properly set up, but if you run a wi-fi analyzer, you'll see it is broadcasting. What I finally did was get rid of its "_.ext" extension and instead let it broadcast as my wifi name without the extension. Now it works fine.
