Clearly, that is not true. After following all the instructions, it did not work. I would have returned it, but it was too late. It is, unfortunately, now a paperweight.

I even put the unit in the hallway 15 ft from the modem/router and about the same distance line of sight from the 2 yr old Lenovo laptop. Nope! Went through all the troubleshooting stuff. Three times! Piece of junk. Couldn't return it to Best Buy because the one-week return period had expired...by two days! What, am I supposed to move next to a Best Buy so I can return their crummy electronics within a week?! Save your money. Go move next to a Spectrum tower if you want wi-fi !

It was a waste of money. If you still want one, I'd be glad to sell you mine!
