After obtaining this device, I was able to browse the web, watch youtube videos without any significant drop in the signal. When I measured the signal strength with speedtest.net it was about the same as the ground floor compared to the 1st floor. Overall, I am satisfied with purchasing the using this product.

The internet has been faster and working a lot better. I do suggest depending on the sq ft of your home you may need more than one.

Unless you assign a static IP address, the address keeps changing for whatever reason. So when you go to login to its settings you need to double check the IP, otherwise you can't connect.

Great solution to an annoying problem

This caused my internet to slow down despite increasing my bandwidth. I purchased the boost range extender to see if that would help and it has. I now has blazing internet across all my products in my home and setup was quick and simple.

Getting wifi in the befrooms has always been difficult until recently when it was impossibke. I work from home so having a good connevtion is a must. I purchased this wifi extender and hard wired it … i am sooo happy i purchased this. I have no issues with wifi connection in my home.

The Linksys RE6300 can be set up in two modes: Wired Range Extender Access Point mode (requires an ethernet cable connected to your existing network) and Wireless Range Extender mode.
