It is recommended to place the Linksys RE6300 in between the area without wireless network and your router, and make sure that it gets enough connection from the router. The Linksys RE6300 allows you to extend the range of your wireless router up to 6,500 square feet, in a perfect environment. Also, please take note that physical obstructions and wireless interference from other device may cause connection issue. Thus, you may try power cycling the extender and place it in between the router and the area you wish to extend the range of your wireless router for isolation. Our Linksys RE6300 plug-in range extender that can easily increase the range of your home Wi-Fi network. It is recommended to place midway between your router and the area without a wireless connection and make sure that it will get at least 50% of your router’s Wi-Fi signal.
