I have a PC that only has an Ethernet port, no wireless capability. But you cannot turn off both the rebroadcasting wireless bands. Why not??? You can turn off either the 2.4G or 5G but not both. So in order to use this one band is rebroadcasting, which I don’t need or want. I wanted this device to connect to existing wireless network and to provide Ethernet access WITHOUT rebroadcasting my wireless network. Returning this device. NOT recommended!

It consistently drops the 5G and I have to reboot the device so it will pick it up again. I have another, different brand extender that works effectively.

We must make sure that your extender should get at least 50% of the connection from your router. Also, try to check your range extender’s wireless signal, and update us then on how it goes over email so we can have you assisted by our Escalation Engineers at [email protected].
