The Linksys RE6300 range extender should be able to extend your Wi-Fi range up to 6,500 sq. ft. However, we can consider the wireless interference and physical obstruction to cause issues with the Wi-Fi signal. To isolate, you can try to use the spot finder feature to help find the optimal location to place the range extender. Also, make sure that the firmware is updated.

If placed too far from an existing router, a range extender may not expand Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi may be spotty. The Spot Finder feature does a great job of helping users find the best position for optimum performance.
