Thank you for sharing your experience with us. You can tweak the position of the antennas to get maximum coverage. For a single story house, both antennas should be pointing down while a multi-story house requires the second antenna to be positioned differently depending on where the extender is located and where the wireless coverage is needed. Upon setting up the Linksys RE6300, we must make sure to have an active Wi-Fi connection, Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password. Also, it should be plugged into a power outlet, and wait until the light is blinking orange before starting the setup process. Also, we could have our Escalation Engineers assist you further. If you have a slow wireless connection behind the Linksys RE6300, then you can try relocating or moving it in between the area without a wireless connection, and your router and make sure that it gets at least 50 percent connection from your router.
