After power outages the extender was very difficult to reactivate. It streamed slowly and would often stop in the middle of a program. When I could no longer get it activated customer support offered to "clean" my computer of the numerous hitchhikers on my wi-fi with a signal that barely reached from my office to my living room. Give me a break. I bought a better product and scrapped this one.

Even when connected it barely boosted the WiFi. Holding the laptop out the window worked better. Getting my $ back

When setting up the Linksys RE6300, we must make to place it in between the router and the area without wireless network.
