It wasn’t as hassle free a setup as I’d hoped and didn’t find a considerable boost. I gave it two stars instead of one even though I returned it. Mainly because the design seems nice....had it worked.

Linksys support chat kept me going for 2.5 hours trying to connect to the device to prove it was defective. Therefor, they couldn't verify it was defective and would not replace this defective unit. We just kept going around in circles. There is NO customer support for their products. Their technical staff are incompetent. Do not buy Linksys products

If your RE6300 Wireless Extender is properly positioned and the firmware is updated, it should be able to repeat your Wi-Fi signal without degrading the speed that your router provides.
