It wasn’t as hassle free a setup as I’d hoped and didn’t find a considerable boost. I gave it two stars instead of one even though I returned it. Mainly because the design seems nice....had it worked.

Linksys support chat kept me going for 2.5 hours trying to connect to the device to prove it was defective. Therefor, they couldn't verify it was defective and would not replace this defective unit. We just kept going around in circles. There is NO customer support for their products. Their technical staff are incompetent. Do not buy Linksys products

We recommend using the Spot Finder Technology feature to guide you where to properly position the device for an optimal Wi-Fi coverage. It was almost impossible to set up and I haven’t noticed much of a difference in WiFi bandwidth in the spots with the issues. Ring doorbell still not getting juice and the extender is 10 feet away!!

Physical obstruction may cause connection issue between your router and the Linksys RE6300. We must make sure to place the extender in between your router and the area without Wi-Fi. Also, for setup concern, if you're having issues connecting it to your router's Wi-Fi, then you may setting it up near to your router before relocating it.
