Works but limited capability

It does not reset automatically if you loose connection. Since spectrum keeps loosing signal i have to constantly unplug and plug to reconnect to the main router.

Make sure that you got the latest firmware of the Range Extender to optimize its performance. A particular area where I use wireless devices is about 70 feet from the modem and router, with no walls in between. Seems close but very poor signal. I placed this range extender halfway between the router and the same area, about 35 feet from each. It has made no difference whatsoever. In fact, at times the signal from the router is indicated to be stronger than the signal from the range extender. I kept trying different locations to no avail; unfortunately it's now too late to return it. Now I have something to contribute on electronics-recycling day this month.
