Interference from other wireless networks in the area could affect your wireless signal. We suggest that you use the Spot Finder to ensure that the extender is in the right spot. Adjusting the antennas will also optimize its performance.

I even spent 1.5 hrs on the line with Linksys customers care trying to get this product to work. I bought this brand because we had a Linksys router that we purchased from Best Buy that had worked great for over 3 years. We tried this product because we have a 2200 sq ft house and the wireless router was in the back of the house, and we didn't have a great connection in the front bedroom in our house. After this experiences we just decided to upgrade are whole house internet with cox.

Support spoke english as a second (or third) language and there must have been 200 of them in a closet using voice activated speaker phones. Eventually they said it must be broken but it acted exactly like another extender from another manufacturer who said theirs was working but needed to be escalated to another support person... in the same closet. Mesh bought at Best Buy later worked immediately and extended further than the Linksys manual said it would. I threw the Linksys wi-fi extender in the trash.
