The Linksys RE6300 can boost Wi-Fi range up to 6,500 sq.ft. On your 2nd range extender, try to reset it to its factory default by pressing and hold the button for 10 seconds. Interference from other wireless networks in the area could affect your wireless signal. We suggest that you use the Spot Finder to ensure that the extender is in the right spot. Adjusting the antennas will also optimize its performance.

It will extend the range somewhat, but the speed is severely decreased and it will randomly disconnect from time to time. Forget about playing video games wireless with this. You can watch your ping fluctuate wildly for no real reason, causing massive lag. Checking connection speed will go from slow to really slow for no apparent reason. Bottom line- Doesn't extend range that much, slow speed, random disconnects and speed varies greatly for no apparent reason. Not worth a purchase.

Maybe it works well if you connect it with an ethernet cable but the original Wi-Fi reaches further than the extender. Extremely disappointing.
