Can only use once

I had upgraded to a new router from my internet provider. The router would pick up the range extender but it wouldn't let you set it up no matter what I tried or what was recommended . I only had it for 1 month.

The Linksys RE6300 WiFi Extender expands your WiFi coverage up to 6,500 square feet but, performance can be affected by the distance from the access point, the volume of network traffic, building materials and construction, and wireless interference. You can try to relocate the extender and update the firmware version to see if that will make any difference.

Not compatible

Don't have cordless computer, so had to plug into computer to download information for it to work. Spent more than 2 hours on phone with tech from manufacturer. In the end, it never worked and was packaged back up and returned. According to ATT Uverse, I needed to buy one of the same thru them. I opted out after talking to someone that said this "extenders" Don't really help much.

okay but keep changing the wifi itself

Thanks for sharing your feedback. The behavior that you're experiencing from your range extender is very uncommon. Let's get this fixed. Have you created a separate network name SSID for your wireless extender? How far is your Linksys repeater from your main Wi-Fi router? To resolve this issue, we recommend to reset and reconfigure your wireless extender. We would also suggest to make sure that your unit is running on the latest firmware version to provide stability on your internet connection. For an optimal wireless coverage, it is recommended that your range extender is getting at least 50% of your router’s Wi-Fi signal and is located midway between your router and the area without Wi-Fi.
