The performance of the range extender would depend on its location and the type of router that you're using. Ensure that the unit is getting at least 50% of your router’s Wi-Fi signal and is located midway between your router and the area without Wi-Fi.

Add a couple of dollars and get a better router. Bought it for my ps5 and it did not work. This device was 15 feet from the router and still kept dropping the signal. Set up is also terrible. Switched to a netgear device and it has not dropped the single once. Dont let the price fool you, get a better device for extra money.

Wireless interference and physical obstruction could interfere with the signal strength of the range extender. To isolate, try to use the spot finder feature of the range extender to find a better location to place the extender.
