Make sure that the extender gets an optimum connection from the router, at least three WiFi bars and that it’s running on the latest firmware. Even when following the directions to the letter, the device did not connect for more than a few seconds at a time. No matter how many different things I tried, this simply would not work for me at all. I would not recommend this product to anyone I know, period.

Not worth the money

I have it in a hall near the room the actual router is in and it’s blinking at me like it’s getting a weak signal. Trying a speed test shows I am only getting about 10 mbs which is terrible. Speed test from my actual router show in the neighborhood of 150 mbs.

The Linksys RE6300 can deliver a stable connection after the setup. You could try to relocate the extender close to the router as it might be placed too far to receive a stable connection and make sure to update the firmware.
