Make sure that the extender gets an optimum connection from the router, at least three WiFi bars and that it’s running on the latest firmware. The Linksys RE6300 WiFi Range Extender should extend the WiFi coverage up to 6,500 sq ft. For isolation, you can try to relocate the extender, and update the firmware to see if that will make any difference. Even when following the directions to the letter, the device did not connect for more than a few seconds at a time. No matter how many different things I tried, this simply would not work for me at all. I would not recommend this product to anyone I know, period.

The RE6300 is expected to cover up to 6,500 square feet, however, there are factors that need to be considered such as wireless interference and physical obstructions. To optimize the extender, make sure that it is running on the latest firmware and utilize the Spot Finder Technology.
