We hear you. The range extender (RE6300) can also be configured using a wired connection aside from setting up the device wirelessly for reasy setup. As to range of the range extender, this device can cover up to 6,500 square feet. Just keep the device away from large metal objects, microwaves, radios, etc to overcome the interference on your network.

I purchase the item to extend my signal just a room over and it simply won't work on a house with concrete walls. It won't even boost the signal on the same room. It was a waste of money.

Since you have concrete walls between rooms, we suggest that you place the range extender in a strategic location. You can put the device just between rooms or just at the door of the next room. The range extender needs to have a clear line of sight to your main router in order to extend the signal. Also, make sure that there is a Wi-Fi signal where you will be placing the device.

Weak WiFi

I have it only 4ft away from the modem and I still cannot get it boost my wifi in the next room. I have two of them and in two different homes and unless it is in the same room it still blinks yellow.
