    I got this home and was unable to connect to my xfinity WiFi. I returned it the next day. Not sure if it was the device or xfinity Wi-Fi.

      This is quite unusual as the unit should've only recommend to put an indication on the broadcasted network, ex. WiFi Name_Ext.     Doesn't work. Have to change WI-FI to XXX-ext. Never had to do that on other extenders I have installed.

    Returned this router to the store. Could not get it to pair with my router. Called tech support and they were no help at all.

    This device was originally meant to extend Arlo as per the store clerk - not possible. Then I considered using it as an AP. Also not possible.

    Followed all the instructions, even called tech support and still could not get it to respond. Not user friendly.

      Setting up your Linksys RE6300 is easy with its browser-based setup feature. There’s no need for an installation software or setup CD. Try to reset the extender to its default settings and wait until the light is blinking orange before starting the setup process.     It doesn't work. A super waste of money and only a 14 day return policy. I wasn't aware of that and am now stuck with a worthless item.

    Once I got it hooked up the WiFi speeds in the same room that it was in were slower than from the base WiFi hub.

    With this extender I thought it would increase my wifi. Unfortunately it did not. I continued to have interruptions. Disappointed with product, so I returned it.
