During setup, you may try to place the extender close to the router temporarily and just relocate it afterwards. If that won’t help, try resetting it and perform the setup again. Physical obstruction is one of the hindrances by of the extended feature. Try to relocate the extender, and make sure to place in between your router and the area without wireless network, and ensure that the extender gets at least fifty percent of your routers connection. Although the range extender is a stand-alone device, it is dependent on the wireless router's existing Wi-Fi signal. It is very important the connection from the source is stable and that the extender is set up properly.
