The range extender should be able to boost the signal of your main network. One of the factors that could affect its wireless performance is the unit's placement in your area. By design, the RE6300 extender can cover up to 6,500 Sq. Ft. However, several factors will cause the limited range such as improper placement, outdated firmware and wireless interference. It's best to place it in between the router and the device(s) that are not in range.
