The range extender should be able to boost the signal of your main network. One of the factors that could affect its wireless performance is the unit's placement in your area. To achieve a stable connectivity and to fully maximize your RE6300 Extender's potential, make sure that it is running on its latest firmware version and it's positioned to a spot at least 50% from your router's Wi-Fi signal. We recommend taking advantage of its Spot Finder Technology feature to guide you where to relocate your extender for an optimal performance. By design, the RE6300 extender can cover up to 6,500 Sq. Ft. However, several factors will cause the limited range such as improper placement, outdated firmware and wireless interference. It's best to place it in between the router and the device(s) that are not in range.
