Make sure to plug the Linksys RE6300 in between the area without wireless network and your router. Also, physical obstructions may one of the possible reason for its poor signal, so you may try relocating it, and update us then on how it goes over email at [email protected] so we can have it checked with our Escalation Engineers. Aside from possible signal interference in your home, the location where you plugged in the RE6300 Extender will impact the range that it can provide. If you haven't tried taking advantage of its Spot Finder Technology feature, please do so as this will help you find the right spot to boost your Wi-Fi range. The Linksys RE6300 AC750 BOOST Wi-Fi Range Extender is a great product. It was super easy to setup using my mobile phone. I had the unit up a running in under 15 minutes. Another nice feature was the spot finder technology. This allowed you to login to the range extender and tell you if the location/outlet selected would provide optimal performance. This was SUPER easy to setup!!! Another nice feature is the unit is super portable. Just remove it from one electrical outlet to another, let the unit boot up and its up and running. Signal strength is AMAZING!!! I had a previous range extender and the Linksys far out performs my former unit. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to extend their Wifi signal!
