I have been looking at multiple boost extenders over the past few months. This one went in a 6000 sq ft house built in 2003. The original router is in the basement and was not reaching to the second floor of the house. I added this to the main floor, and the signal was significantly extended throughout the house. Setup was easy. It's hard to tell if this will be the problem solver for this house, as the type of internet available in that area is still mediocre, at best.

The Linksys RE6300 Range Extender was sent to me by Linksys to evaluate after I selected it from eligible products. I had some problems setting up the unit mostly my fault. I contacted Linksys support and they were able to step me through the setup process. Linksys support, in my opinion, is one of the best around. When I set up the extender I used the Spot Finder technology feature to find the optimum location for the RE6300. I now have much better coverage for my network devices. This is a product that I would purchase.

Also, does not provide speeds over 100Mbps with a 300 Mbps internet.

Worked for one week than the extender would not sync to our Samsung Smart TV. I tried everything to get a connection without success.

I would give this item 5 stars, but the only issue I have was with lag. My computer set up is in a basement getting 10 mbps out of 60. I bought this to help boost a signal and I was getting 50 mbps out of 60 but when playing video games, there was a noticeable lag occurring frequently. I would recommend it just got getting service somewhere, but not for gaming.

Using this to boost wifi out to my kennel building wyze cameras, works great. Cameras are about 300' from router and otherwise don't get a good connection without this booster.

I had issues with this at first. Easiest way to use this place it between your router snd the place you want to boost your WiFi. Plug it in wait for it to blink orange check WiFi connections on a lap top cell etc. Connect to the WiFi described in directions and follow on screen guide. At the end make sire your in the green on booster scale. Took me few hours to figure out the easiest to do it. I used the WPS on my router but took longer then directions i gave in the beginning. It did boost the WiFi a lot can know use my firestick that was to far away from router.

Didn’t provide the range that I was looking for. I expected a better product.

Easy to set up, And it actually works. No more lagging when I play online games. The internet doesnt cut off anymore. I've got full bars now and it's super fast. Definitely worth it

To hard to set up and maintain connection, takes too long to reboot.

As far as it was, it was great, but after the fourth year Gyplunk. Dead?

I bought this device to extend my WiFi connection to my detached garage. I noticed the signal was extremely weak and disconnected when I went to the far end of the garage. Purchased this product yesterday and quickly went home to setup. Followed the directions in the box twice and it failed to connect to my router. However, It was much easier to setup online. After setting up this product I am happy to report I have a strong signal in the garage and backyard. I went back in the garage today to check the signal again and it is still strong. I’m very happy with this product.

Recently got this couple of weeks ago. This extender is really good with ethernet! I'm a gamer, therefore I was playing on wifi which is not good before purchasing this product. Ever since, reduce ping, spikes, and no more lag/ stuttering. On valorant, my ping would spike to 100-200 here and there. Now, I average around 30-40 ping. Really easy to set up, took me only 10 minutes to get this extender functioning. Not really good speeds but it helps with ping spikes in game.

Received as a free sample from Linksys. Setting up the range extender was very easy and quick. Using the range extender for about a week now and extended 5Ghz band of my Linksys WRT 1900 AC router. All my devices find and connect to it with no issue.

Works well for simple signal extension. Repeats from second floor down to yard, and provides a reliable enough connection to stream HD video. Not a mesh network, but rather pulls from the original router (slightly slower than a direct connection). Install: A bit tricky to place correctly to make initial connection to router. The flashing colors didn’t indicate a connection on the first try, but upon restart worked fine.

You get what you pay for. Spotty connection. Keep loosing conntection.

Works great! Plugged it in and no issues with it at all.

It has great speed when it wants to. I have had issues with dropping connections for 2-5 seconds constantly. You also cannot choose which band you'd like to transmit while using the Ethernet port. I'd like to just use the 5ghz band, but as is, it's not possible.

I wanted to receive WiFi in my garage, so I placed this extender more than 50 ft away in our laundry room on the same floor as my router. It connected great. We're now able to watch our tv out in the garage with the Amazon Firestick while we workout or whatever. Awesome.

So i have wifi already and i was getting 1 bar at my patio area at a speed of 20mb on speed test. I installed this booster closer to the patio, and i till get 1 bar. Also, even if you put this right next to your current router, the speed is alot slower than your original modem, 300mb on router and 100mb on booster. I bought this thinking that it would have a much better range than my router, but i was wrong. I live in a 2300sq ft single story house, and it is probably 50 linear foot to my patio. So if you are thinking it would cover more distance, do not buy this. I simply gave 2 stars instead of 1 is the simple set up. I just end up not using this product and it is just sitting in my garage.
