Thank you for the honest feedback. Rest assured that the setup should be easy especially when there's a stable WI-Fi connection. Moreover, try to factory restore the extender first to erase all the stored settings. Reconfigure it after and share the updates at LinksysCares@linksys.com along with the router's make/model, your contact details, ISP, and the link to your review for our perusal.

Great for occasional internet usage

Some interferences are probably causing the devices to disconnect from the range extender. It may help if you'll relocate the extender and take advantage of the spot finder feature on the setup process to know the suggested location. Didn’t work for me...

If you can go online while connected on the main router/modem, there might be some settings that we need to tweak on the range extender to keep it up and running.
