Tends to drop the base signal even though the repeated signal strength is still reporting it’s strong, though. Doesn’t degrade, it’s just either on or off.

Setting up is a lil confusing, the green little is green for a sec then it's yellow I still don't know if it's working my laptop recognized it but my cameras idk ????

If the LED of your RE6300 Extender is blinking green/yellow, it means it's starting up, resetting to factory defaults, upgrading its firmware or WPS connection is in process. There are ways to improve the performance of the extender, such as updating the firmware. Relocating might also help as there’s a high chance that the device is not getting an optimum connection directly from the router. ||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In fairness to Linksys I haven't spent a ton of time troubleshooting this device but then again if it worked great it wouldn't be necessary to troubleshoot it either. Setup was pretty quick and painless. I was able to connect it to my existing wireless network without any trouble and then attach devices that struggled to obtain a good signal before easily. The problem is that it frequently stops working. Unplugging it and plugging it back in solves the problem every time but its a hassle to do this frequently. Sometimes it works for a week without problems. Sometimes it has to be power cycled several times in one day. I guess it worked better initially because when I got tired of dealing with it I realized I was a few days past the return deadline for Best Buy. I'll try to contact Linksys to see if they have any solutions.
