In case you encounter the same concern with the Linksys RE6300, you may try to power cycle it, and make sure that it gets 50% of the connection from the router. You may also consider obstructions. I still don’t know to get my devices to automatically switch from the main wifi to the extended wifi though. Also, it often starts flashing orange for no apparent reason. It might have to do with an Internet service issued in my home, but I don’t know. Everything might be user error, because I’m not tech savvy.

To isolate, you can try connecting directly to your router and observe if the connection is stable or not.
