I find the connection quality is only as good as my router, but is more reliable. Overall a good product, but best for in house coverage.

Solved my signal dropping issue completely. Hope this review helps , I give the until 5 stars across the board !!

Weak signal but speedy enough

Tried using it to extend my existing WRT AC hoping it would greatly improve my ring outside camera wifi connect. This was just about 10 to 15ft away and the ring camera RSSI improved from 69 to just 64. I simply return it and just scooted my router 2 ft closer for similar results. Setup was simply which was a plus.

We might need to look into the placement of the extender. Make sure that it still gets an optimum connection directly from the router and that there are no physical obstructions that could block the connection. Updating the firmware will also help to stabilize the overall performance of the device.

However, I find it needs constant rebooting and will just drop connection in the middle of the day. I use this for work and is very frustrating when I lose connection in the middle of a business zoom call.
