However, I find it needs constant rebooting and will just drop connection in the middle of the day. I use this for work and is very frustrating when I lose connection in the middle of a business zoom call.

Needed to boost the signal into the garage for a tv there. This pushes through the wall and as a bonus we get more consistent coverage in the kitchen. Ease of use: Took a little bit of effort to set up. Wasn’t as easy as they make it sound in the literature but that could have been a user problem rather than on them but whatever. Maybe took me 30 mins total. Great little extender.

That method was successful and the unit has worked flawlessly ever since. I had to do one reset after a power outage that took down my network. This is the third model/brand I tried to resolve a coverage problem and the Linksys AC750 is by far my best experience of them all. Worked at 2.5 and 5 GHz speeds seamlessly.

It is possible that it is too far from the signal of your main router. To maximize its range, we recommend that you place the device between the main router and the location where you want to extend the Wi-Fi signal.

We might need to look into the placement of the extender. Make sure that it still gets an optimum connection directly from the router and that there are no physical obstructions that could block the connection. Updating the firmware will also help to stabilize the overall performance of the device.
