As for the WPS, you can either use the physical button that your RE6300 Extender has or you can log in to the web-based setup page of your Linksys device and select one of the three (3) options for configuring WPS. I started working from home and have a desktop that had to be directly connected to the router for internet connection (or so I thought). Turns out I could use this product to reach the router wirelessly so I can move the computer anywhere I want in the house. No need to install anything, just plug it into the outlet, connect the computer, press a button and that's it!
