Well not really, but the setup was easy for my less computer experienced 75 year old aunt who could follow the instruction sheet, get into her laptop, configure with the repeater’s built in web page and quickly extend her WiFi to include her upstairs loft. So this is highly recommended.

I had a lot of trouble syncing it with the modem-router. However I have to say that the inconsistent signal strength from Comcast was at least part of the problem. Once I was able to get the unit synced it worked well. It doesn't have quite the range that I need although that can vary depending on the weather and how many local users are on the Comcast node with me. I have noticed recently that this has been less of a problem. I recommend this unit but would caution that you should budget a significant amount of time to get it set up.

Setting up the RE6300 wireless extender should be fast and easy through its browser-based setup page. Before you start the installation process, make sure to take note of the following :
* An active 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz wireless network connection
* Wireless network settings
* Wireless Network Name (SSID)
* Password or Security Key

Needed a Little Boost, This does the job
