We have a small house, with very few walls or other items interfering between unit and our router. I can't get this to work consistently. It continually boots my son's chromebook off network. I'll be trying out a different brand/type soon.

I plugged the range extender into an outlet less than 3 feet away from my signal and it still would not pick it up on the first 10 tries and kept blinking orange. When I finally got the "Green" light (which does not look like the picture), I moved the extender. There's no reason this should not have easily picked up the signal since I only moved the extender one room over and I was only trying to cover an area less than 1000 sq.ft., but it has yet to help extend or boost the signal as described and/or promised by the sales associate. It was an easy "install", it just doesn't work.

Good but not seamless

I was hoping it would be a seamless transition but you have to choose from your default WiFi router when you want to use it. Also, I don’t have a massive house but it shows it to have a weak signal from the main unit even though it’s in a house that’s less than 2,000 sqft. Overall it gets the job done but I am now looking at getting a mesh system for the seamless experience.
