Ideal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this not because I had any dead spots in my house, I got it to separate my WiFi signal, and it did just that perfectly.

Works sometimes.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sometimes it works. It was easy to set up. We have a small house, with very few walls or other items interfering between unit and our router. I can't get this to work consistently. It continually boots my son's chromebook off network. I'll be trying out a different brand/type soon.

It does work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked best after I separated the 2.4ghz and the 5.0ghz on the house router. Set up your router first . This unit is just plug it in and wait for the light to turn solid green . I used my computer for set up so I could test which signal would be the strongest . We have xfinity router - which you can go into the settings of that and rename he 2 signals so you can identify them when connecting to WiFi on your other devices. Worked to boost the signal from downstairs to the far side of the house upstairs.

Good but not seamless
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This extender doesn’t quite work exactly like I thought. I was hoping it would be a seamless transition but you have to choose from your default WiFi router when you want to use it. Also, I don’t have a massive house but it shows it to have a weak signal from the main unit even though it’s in a house that’s less than 2,000 sqft. Overall it gets the job done but I am now looking at getting a mesh system for the seamless experience.

It was ok
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.we purchased this due to SIP COVID19 and everyone is home using lot more WIFI. Our internet was super slow and thinking this will help us and it did. But I think we should spend a little more ans got a even better one. I think this is all depends the area you living in and how your house is setup.
