The help online is a little expensive but it definitely helped. The online help very knowledgeable and people online very smart and patient I'm not very good with a computer but they took right over.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed this to transition to working from home, and as we use Polycom VOIP phones, had to have an ability to "plug in" phone directly into my modem/internet connection. As this was located on a completely different level of my home than my office, and an extra long ethernet cable was not a viable option, this did the job! I don't that it actually "boosts" my internet, but it does enable my work VOIP phone to function!

Great Wifi Extender

Looks awesome but when I went to plug my old AC1200 Wifi Router in, the entire living room and half of the bedrooms were cut off. Bought the adapter because it was reasonable quick and had a LAN attachment. This was helpful because the new house wasn't wired and my kid was already on my nerves about not being able to play Xbox Live. Performs great. Easy to setup. Looks pretty fancy.

It works perfectly! It works well with the Verizon router. Getting it activated was a bit of a challenge but customer service was able to walk us through. I would recommend the Linksys extender without hesitation.

It would either take forever to connect and when it finally did connect (after so many factory resets and etc), it would only work reliably for an hr or so before losing connection. Customer support was the most USELESS customer supports I have ever encountered. They were so desperate to blame the issue on me and not their crappy device. After a good 2 hrs of "support" they still would not admit device failure. I'll just toss the device in garbage and NEVER purchase Linksys again (even if it's for free). If you can't stand behind your product, you are useless.

I needed to be within 3 ft. of my router. A lot of wait between steps. End result: not what I expected. Small increase of signal and only within 8 ft of the extender.
